My husband and I have been trying to kill Zhaitan since release. We stopped playing after the first few months due to frustration at not being able to get a group together to complete this. How many do we need exactly? It really sucks to have not completed the final quest:(

You can (and should) take up to 5 people for this last story instance. The Looking For Group Tool (top left corner of your screen) can be used to find more people. I agree though, that this is not a great way to finish your personal story. Maybe we will see some changes to it in the future.

Yeah gl with that, it was hard even at launch to get a party for it.

Did you post your party request in Dungeons -> The Ruined City of Arah? If not, you should try that. Also set your party description to “story” or something similar. Under normal circumstances, it should be possible with some waiting to find three people, at least if do not play during off hours.

If you don’t have a guild, find one. A good active one that is, I’m sure some people would love to help you.

We do have a guild, and they are pretty active, but any time we ask, no one responds, lol. I will try the party request.

Switch guilds, definitely switch guilds.

Also, have you tried asking ON main map? you might be surprised and find a couple of people to tag along.

I know the feels. I think it took me over a month (maybe two) to:

1. Wait for the dungeon entrance to be uncontested (not terribly hard);
2. Look for four other people who also need to kill Zhaitan (once in a blue moon);
3. Hope the group sticks together long enough to start the dungeon (things usually break down here).
4. Hope the dungeon doesn’t bug at the helicopter (maybe if we all jump off the airship…).
5. Hope the dungeon doesn’t bug anywhere else (kittens, fluffy kittens)
6. Broadside Zhaitan like a boss (please no more bugs no more bugs please)
7. Are we all here? Did we all get it? Yes? YES! (whew)

Anyway, I’m always down for a Zhaitan beatdown if I’m on and have time. Add me if you’d like.

Might be your server. don’t know what one you’re on, but I know a couple of people who’d tag along.
I would too, but I’m not at that level yet XD.

Try finding a casual guild, they tend to be more helpful. (as they dont mind slow dungeon runs, n00bs etc)

Before Victory or Death got nerfed I have to admit doing it more than once wasn’t very appealing. It was long, filled with bugs, took quite a bit of time and effort to complete, and rewarded rather poorly, hence the difficulty in getting people to do it again if they’ve already done it.

Now, though… bugs aside, it’s actually somewhat trivial in terms of difficulty, and I say that as more of a casual player.

Me and a friend 2 manned this mission two nights ago. Its should be do able for you and your husband if you know what you are doing.

If you play on Underworld server i might help…if not…sry.

The LFG is cross server. Using that you have a higher chance to get a response.
Otherwise try announcing it in LA, you might have to wait for it, but not all in Arah are there for the PS.
Then you could still wait out there in Arah hoping to get lucky, though
