Kiting Champions?
No, sounds like a bug. Did the champion move back to his original location once it killed everything in its way?
Currently playing Heart of Thorns.
The champion spider in Kessex Hills from the Toxic Alliance living story is special. It chases across the map and murders everything in its path. Try bringing it to the lionguard and watch them die to it!
No, that’s not normal. Most Champions give up interest after a bit. But… that spider… I bumped into it while leveling my Warrior and it just didn’t stop chasing me. I managed to get from its spawn point near Lake Viathon to somewhere near the Earthworks area before it finally killed me.
Maybe that’s not a bug, but rather good ANet Trolling ?
I’d love some PvE trolling from devs, like making a boss which essentially pulls your whole group to the corner, “stack” on you and unleash AoE/Cleave

Did it follow you into the water? o_O
That’s usually the easiest way to ditch a ground-based thing you’re not interested in dealing with.

Today I were leveling my warrior and simply minding my own bussiness when an event popped up. A champion spider were to be killed. A few other players in the area came to aid me but sadly we didn’t manage to kill it. So we all ran away, exept for me. The spider chased me, and would not stop. It literally would not stop. I had it chase me pretty much allover Kessex Hills and it killed everything in its way.
My question is: Are you supposed to be able to move champions from their orignal location?
Haha rage of the spider …. feel its wrath!
This sounds interesting. I think there should be some more champions that behave like this. Kinda like retribution for interfering with them.
Getting chased all over the map by a giant spider… I don’t like the sound of this. ^^
This reminds me of fansy the bard.

That’s also the easiest way to break enemies. Ever seen a Risen Knight go in water – hilarious, they just foat around half in the water with their animation frozen.
Did you have a fly in your pocket?
