Long time mmorpg’r here. Just recently started reading the forums a bit and I see Kitten this Kitten that all over the place. What is this referencing?

Its just the forums masking of inappropriate (Anet deemed) words.
There’s multiple threads with moderator replies/explanations.

Bad word filter replacing bad words with “kitten”.
