Kittening (Dostoev Waypoint)
I have done it solo on 2 dirrerent charactors. Not sure what could be giving you problems with it. You just have to take it slow. You can always check out youtube, there are lots of videos there showing you how to solo it, but honestly, it’s not really that hard.
Two veterans, and a mob of five of those mole things and one mining suit.
Solo.
Isn’t hard.
We must be playing in different universes.

You do not have to fight more then a single veteran and the mining suit unless you really want to. 3 Hints. 1) Watch the videos. 2) If you can jump to a walkway behind a closed gate, there is no reason to open the gate. 3) Don’t over agro.
It’s really not that hard at all.
I did it on a necro solo, then showed about a dozen more people how to do it quickly by jumping the gate instead of fighting the entire area to open it.
Higher level zones are all about observation and being aware of your environment. If you are over-aggroing then you need to pay attention more to where you’re moving and how big the aggro radius is for the enemy.
Sounds like Doestev made you feel the idiot.
DO NOT INFRACT ME FOR LITERARY PUNS PLS
Agree with other posters, the hardest part was figuring how to get to it, once that was solved, the run is easy, mobs can be avoided even the vet i ran past and pulled the chain to open the gate even though you can jump over the gate, only mobs I had to fight was the vet next to vista, a turret and 2 dredge on last ramp to final platform.
“After several hours I’m still swinging this sword with1 lodestone drop”
This vista made me rage so hard on my first time there. Then I solo’d that place on every other character and it wasn’t hard at all. Just know how many mobs you can comfortably solo, and do that. And don’t fall off the edge.
I always run to the waypoint and then kill whatever is left that haven’t leashed back. If there’s enough distance between them and/or you have a lot of HP, you can just logout quickly when you get to the top. If you’re lucky, you’ll log back in and only have to fight whatever is at the top next to it.
This vista is grossly overpowered for its location in a mid level zone (which is usually empty off-peak). It’s a design failure if it can’t be solved on the spot without recourse to an offline video or a perfectly built character. That there is nothing remotely as difficult in similar zones (Bloodtide Coast and Blazeridge Steppes) confirms that this vista is a design blunder.
