I wasn’t sure where to put this, or if there’s a better channel to send this through. I spied this ad on Facebook for “Knight’s Fable,” yet another cookie-cutter F2P RPG, which clearly uses art assets from GW2. I don’t see any other stolen work on their site, so it’s likely just a case of a lazy intern waiting until the last second to make a graphic; regardless, I thought you’d like to look into it.

That’s just lazy. I hope ANet slaps them.

…i think this becomes common,i heard a Skyrim soundtrack in a fb game.

The logo’s art and font is also stolen from Final Fantasy.

Oh yeah, I noticed this a long time ago. Guess I forgot to say anything, whoops.. lol. Shame on them.

Angry birds and Farmville are blatant rip offs of other games. I’m not really surprised.

Doesn’t want FB to change the user agreement so that everything you post there belongs to them? (I don’t do FB, so I haven’t really read into it, only heard the cry-out about it…)

a huge number of Facebook/other browser games steal screenshots and other content from various successful francishises in an effort to lure players to their games. Facebook and Google adsense know, they just don’t care. It’s been happening for years

I also saw a knights fable ad on facebook with the gw2 login screen in the background of the character, it even had the 100% map completion badge, and on the left, it had the character name and everything. It also said “currently in lions arch”.
