When do I get to play a Kodan? Not the cuddly “Awww its so cute, sure honey, go pet it”, but the “OHMYGODITSEATINGMYARM” VERSION

Seeing as there’d be zero character customisation, I’d hope they remain unplayable and remain as they are – awesome and not ruined by us, the playerbase.

Pretty much have to agree with this sentiment. As much as I’d love to play as a Kodan just the thought of seeing one waiting at a world boss while dancing in a ballgown is just really off putting.

Thought you meant the Bear Rush for guild missions. That’s kinda a baby Kodan Bear race right? Otherwise they should allow all tonics to be combat tonics like Watchknight.

its stile on my top list what i really really want play the Kodan race i love them so much
there cute there big there strong and a sweet voice comes out of there mouth so great

and i don’t care if i need to spend real cash if Anet can pull this off then am forever great full

go into Edge of the Mist blue side and you can play as a Kodan :P

You can already play Kodan as a playable race – search of ‘Ursan Tonic’ on the trading post, and purchase environmental weapons from vendors, such as the Frost Gun from Researcher Bamm in Gendarran Fields, or Jezza’s Flamethrower from Cogl in Sparkfly Fen.

Kodans have terrible posture.

You can already play as a Skritt. I RP as a Skritt sometimes in my guild. All you need to do is combine the following in the Mystic Forge:

2 x [Mystery Tonic] + 1 x [Slab of Red Meat] + 1 x [Tiny Claw]

You can make the Mystery Tonics via Artificer 400 Crafting.

Then, as I mentioned in my reply about how to make a playable Kodan, get yourself a purchasable environment bundle.
