Kudos to Security Teams
well you don’t see them now because there teleporting around the map now ,
but atleast the long trains is gone good job on that
depends on the server

but i guess they are starting to understand that is not convenient to ignore them.
Nonetheless is very easy to find hack and bot applications just googling, so why they developer team doesn’t study these common attainable hacks and build countermeasures built into the client (like i.e. memory fingerprint analysis, anti-teleport controls) instead of relying on players reports?
Sure human judgement is valuable, but they cannot expect us to buy their product and also doing their job forever.
Yet thanks, because the situation is slowly getting better.
The most effective way to battle gold sellers I’ve ever seen was to simply outbid them. The game adjusted cash shop prices(and pretty much the entire game economy) in such way that selling cash shop items would generate you the same gold/$ ratio as buying from a gold seller(and since nobody wants to risk a ban for nothing….gold sellers just left due to no business…oh, and when they’d return to check the market, they’d face some funny chat filters, like, if smb would type “1000g for $10” it’d turn into “banhammer for $10” etc). As long as ANet refuses to do that for the gem market, GW2 will always have gold sellers and the bots to match….
I see bots all the time, there was 3 on one node at the same time lol yesterday. I have yet to go to a node and not have a bot appear and dissappear while I am at it.
