So apparently if you use the new precursor crafting system some Legendaries have little post-creation quirks you can access…

Which includes a personal garden you’re supposed to be able to harvest from with the very first Legendary I ever made, years ago— Kudzu.

But I don’t get to have it. Because. I did it the hard way, ages ago. Annnd Anet did not make it so old players get the same benefit?

Is there any way I can actually, you know, get the same benefits that all these new people are getting when they make Kudzu orrr am I pretty-much pushed aside forever with my old Kudzu that I had to get the precursor for the miserable old fashioned way?

I know, add more salt and whatever, but I feel really frustrated that I’d have to waste my time and money making a SECOND Leaf of Kudzu to get something I feel should have been unlocked for all previous owners of the bow.

Build the Leaf of Kudzu and sell it on the TP?

That way you get your garden and you get some hundret gold for ~5h doing the hunt

My smartphone is a little outdated now and doesn’t get a specific update, because I bought it two years ago and not today, where every other Smartphone gets that update.

Simple explanation is this: You want something new, but you don’t want to abide by the new rules, because you have something similiar.

Why is modern culture so complainy?

Yeah, Bomber has the right of it. If they permanently blocked you out of the precursor crafting then you’d totally have a point on this one, but since they don’t, if you want the garden, you need to actually do the questing involved in finding it, not just buy the precursor off the TP. So do the Legendary quest, make the Precursor bow, and then sell it on the TP.

According to GW2 efficiency, you stand to lose about 250g in the process, but remember that anyone trying to get Kudzu that way now would be losing the same amount, so again, you are not put “behind” the newbie player.

If you think MF’ing bows till a Leaf plopped out is in anyway “harder” than crafting a Leaf, then I just don’t know what to tell you…

I’m just now finding out that as well as the new shortbow giving a tiger cub backpack the older precursor collections also give bonus items (apparently the Juggernaut gives you an ooze tonic).

Now I’m excited to find out what the collection for the Lover gives, and maybe do the collection even though I’ve already got the Dreamer. I love the legendary so there’s a good chance I’ll like the bonus thing too.

Some weapons don’t have bonus. I made Nevermore and you get nothing else.

I know The Minstrel gives a music box. I dunno about dreamer.

Which begs the questions. Why don’t each precursor journey have a bonus item like this, it’ll actually entice players to make the journey. I made HOPE and got nothing also, but it be cool imo.
