Hi ANET.

Is the final chest of that incredibly long, challenging (but fun) jumping puzzle in new LA supposed to be just a normal reward chest?

I was 100% expecting something unique like the tonic from the Silverwastes puzzle, but just got a rare and some junk.

It was a lot of fun, but that felt a little unrewarded otherwise.

Jumping puzzles are notorious for having bad rewards at the end.

I actually think it’s a good move because if they had better rewards more people might feel pressured to do them even if they don’t enjoy it and aren’t good at it, and then Anet would be under pressure to ensure all jumping puzzles are more accessible.

This way they’re free to make insanely long/complex or kittenes like this and the one in Silverwastes and players can choose whether to attempt it for the fun of doing it or skip it and do something they enjoy more.

Congrats on the most insane jumping challenge yet Anet!! Took around 85 minutes with mostly no idea where we were going, but the weather vane men pointed the way.. most the time

Some people are going to loathe it, but I loved it!

I loved it too. I just hoped for some silly reward like the Skritt Burglar tonic from Silverwastes.
