So, I routinely do Bosses in the lower level zones. Just wait until you kit out your character in exotic gear with superior runes and sigils.

We are heroes. This is what we do!

Could you finally beat that quest that gave you so much trouble before? Wasn’t around to assist you this time.

That’s pretty funny.

When the game first came out there were quite a few people who tried levelling entirely in the starting instance. (This was back when it was actually possible to level there from killing the enemies.)

In GW1 it was a big thing, which is why I think people tried to do it in GW2. But then GW1’s starting area was more like an entire zone.

The only potential problem with this method is you get no exposure to mechanics as you level. Doing this on a harder to learn class is generally detrimental for a while to your gameplay.

But yeah, it does feel good 1 shotting the whole of Tyria for a while.

Chances are anyone with 80 Tomes of Knowledge will have been playing a while and therefore have a good grasp of at least the basic mechanics, which makes learning a new character much easier.

I did the same thing when HoT was released. Without even taking a step in the starting story instance my revenant was at 80 with ascended armor and weapons. Issormir was never an easier kill.

Until a few updates ago it was possible to be level 80 during the prologue section, with out down scaling , through the use of the bank golem and tomes. At that point it was funny to one shot the vets and the champ boss with just auto attacks.
