Looking to find out which server has the best population for RP, I’ve heard of TC, and a few EU servers. Though I hear very nice and very bad things about TC. Can I get some opinions and facts?

Unless you plan on role playing in WvW, servers don’t matter anymore. Everyone uses the same mega-servers. I suppose you can ask which region has better RPers, NA or EU.

TC at the moment is the only RP server…
It use to be a great server with allot of great rpers and rp activities but that all changed with mega servers. Know the only open world rp is pub rp and thats boring normal talk or nsfw type of stuff or you need to be in a secluded rp group.

The game does not have pure RP servers anymore because of Megaservers,
Introducing the Megaserver System, which effectively mashes all servers together. It does try to sort people out onto the map shards by server, guild and friends.

What I suggest you do is guest to a server and find a guild there. If you join the guild and friend the people in it, the game should make an effort to put you on the same map shards. If not, you can party up with them and pull yourself over to their shard.

• Choice of world only directly affects your side in WvW. It has less impact on PvE than your current party, list of friends, or current guild representation.
• Your best bet these days is to find out about organized RP via the usual websites . Pick up RP is just as common (or uncommon) in the cities as it always has been; some people never have trouble finding it and some do.
• When it mattered more, TC was the only RP option for NA, because there were never enough RPers gravitating towards any other world.
• For what it’s worth: I know several people who moved from TC and regretted it (both before and after megaservers); everyone I know who move to TC is happy with their choice. (Anecdotal evidence is of limited value; I include it mostly to illustrate the “acceptability” of choosing TC.)
