With HoT the LFG Tool feels awfully cluttered. I mean, especially the Living World Tab where seemingly everyone dumps their requests lately. Be it World Bosses like Tequatl, Silverwaste Maps, then with Halloween we had tons of Lab and Ascent lfgs and of course everything you can do in the new HoT maps.
If you want to do something with a group in the open world, it becomes very hard finding said group before it quickly vanishes again.

I think, it would be helpful, if the HoT Maps get their own tab or, for instance temporary festivals, world bosses get their own, too.

Yeah a revamp of the LFG system is needed. It didn’t recieve any love recently.

It needs a filter feature!

The diversity in the Living World tab of the LFG tools is a clear indication that there needs to be more tabs.

I mean, the other tabs are highly specialized in an aspect of the game…Fractals, WVW..tab per individual dungeon even…

But living world gets used for:
world boss trains
taxis for ALL PVE maps in the whole game both offering and requesting
Special events (halloween/wintersday/etc)
Living world (this one is fine obviously)
selling jumping puzzles

Living world should be just for living world..possibly also with special events. But taxis/world bosses should at least get their own tab or a tab per map (though this might be too much..maybe the popular maps only?)

It’s very cluttered when looking for a good dragon stand map or AB map and scrolling through a long list of puzzle sellers and whatnot.

A filter you can customize? Like just tick on what maps you want to see or not? That’d be great! Maybe if I only want a AB map LFG/taxi, it will only pass my filter if party leader is in said map….or a taxi tab showing only options that are in the map you are currently in.

LFG is a taxi tool.

I use it all the time for offering help to new players and find it great.

But yeah…overall it’s a taxi tool for the next farm.

I agree we need to seperate the tabs into maps, world bosses, events, etc.

Looking for something in the list is pretty annoying.

I agree, I made this post before, we need sub tabs for living world, like with Fractals

A search bar could do wonders. Need a category for the hot HoT zones.

I would also like to see a Tyria and Magus Falls tabs instead of one open world tab.

It’s a pretty bad taxi tool. With the joining limits, two full maps / fake advertisements / general idiocy locks you out. Get another one after that and you’ve missed the event.

A few more tabs would be nice.

I was thinking of a text filter. Like, I put in “teq”, and it only shows lfg with “teq”

More tabs would definitely be nice.

It would also help if people would use the right tabs. Open World often has multiple Fractal parties listed in it. Same with Dungeons.

Could make it more like the AH, where aside from the details you list, it notes the map you’re on. People could use a search box to call up the map they are specifically interested in, bringing up all parties on that map, or search for specific keywords e.g. taxi. Those who prefer it the current way would be unaffected and needn’t use the filter/search.
