LFG what kind of players ask what they want
well you can join that lfg first time. Maybe the problem is even new people dont’ want to join with other new people.
It’s not that hard to find a group. If you want to join those good groups, you need to be good yourself. It’s understandable.
I used to do low level AC on my low level character. Quite honestly a huge percentage of people just rage quit before the dungeon is over. And dont’ get me started how many times I did aetherblade path, and everyone just keep rage quiting.

What ubber gear are you talking about?
This game has no progression, how can you have ubber gear?
Yea or you know put up your own lfg
Edit
and they can ask for specific gear since it give more damage but thats becouse they want to shave of time on their runs let them do that if they want.
but asking gold for the final boss is not the way sorry but that is going to far
soon every1 is asking for it to earn money in this game pretty sad
ya I never really like how there are so many dungeon seller in this game. I think a huge reason is it is possible to solo dungeons.
Most of the other mmorpg you can’t really solo dungeons, so there are less of that happening. Also gold is much more important in this game, so that is an added incentive.
If Anet just designed their dungeon so it pretty much require 5 people, there will be much less that happening. There will still be dungeon seller, just much less. Most of the dungeon being sold are path which can be soloed.
Dungeon selling and pinging gear have been around for some time now. If they were gonna ruin GW2, it would have already happened.
Start your own lfg or join another one. Alternatively, join an active guild that does dungeons.

Asking for berserker gear for dungeons is not really discriminatory, anyone can buy a set of exotic gear or buy it with karma or wvw or dungeon tokens. And if you take dungeon runs seriously you should know that berserker builds are by far the best option for dungeons, anything different than that will just slow down your team and make you actually contribute less to the group.
The lfg is a tool to help find like minded people to run with. If bob wants to run with all zerk that’s his right. If frank wants to solo arah and Suzy is willing to pay at the last boss so she doesn’t have to run it who is that hurting? And if I want to take my time why can’t I look for people who don’t want to rush? Again, who is it hurting?
You don’t need amazing gear. I joined one zerk only group and one guy pinged his still under construction set, where some pieces didn’t even have an upgrade let alone a meta-approved one. This was deemed acceptable by the person who cared enough to ask for gear ping.
There are a lot of groups out there. The best way to get into a group that has the same goals as you is to find a guild with a core of people that run dungeons regularly and have the same values as you. The forum’s https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/guilds/recruitment might be a good place to look.
Expecting that a random collection of strangers on the internet will all have the same desires and expectations is a huge ask.
Time to ask the obvious: Have you tried making your own LFG post?
Players asking to ping gear: they want to run with other meta/minmaxers. Believe me, you probably don’t want to run with them anyway.
Players asking for gold at the final boss: They just solo’d a dungeon path and are opening the slots up for other players who want tokens/levels (for a small compensation for their efforts). Seems fair to me.
Just ignore the LFG posts that don’t match what your looking for, and make your own post if nothing available suits you.

Yeah, don’t run with them if you aren’t meta. You will have a bad time. It’s their right to run the way they want, just like it’s your right to start your own group and run it the way you want.

This is totally true, but I think it’s just a symptom of how badly dungeons need to be revamped. Arah is hard, and it’s supposed to be, but I doubt Anet intended it to be a solo challenge. If they did, they wouldn’t have made it 5 man so that 4 people could come in and pay one guy. It’s harder to find an Arah group because 1: it’s hard and 2: there’s path sellers so why bother? WP had a good video about this a while back. Basically it would be nice if dungeons themselves compensated solo or duo runners by having proportional rewards upon completing.

This this this.
I expected some outrageus lfg’s in this one. But i have seen far worse mate this is normal lfg, dungeon selling and zerk speed runs are normal in lfg.
Back in the good days, when elitists would afk with Twilight on old LA bank, we’d get the occasional lfm cof 3 hrs min zrkr only know roration got mes no necro no huntards
It was only later, much later, that the suffix “8kap+ or kick” would appear.
Ahh. I miss those days…
It’s harder to find an Arah group
It absolutely isn’t. You can put up an “anyone welcome” LFG and fill in seconds/minutes. The sellers are not crowding out people looking to join a group.
LFG is like opening your house for a party. There are going to be rules and if you think they’re ridiculous have your own party instead.
People might ask stupid things but they’re entitled to if they want. If no one joins maybe they’ll reconsider their requests. Otherwise don’t try to manipulate them in to playing your way.
Start your own group and make your own requirements. I ask for stupid things all the time like “must have pink hair” or “no humans allowed” or even “pants must be removed upon entry” and I get groups pretty fast.
