This post might be better off in PhP but I haven’t gotten a reponse for awhile and i’m sure I could get a little more assistance out in this thread area. Also this is after all part of Guild Wars 2 and there could be some sort of discussion about it :<

LOD Distance: The distance which rendered objects transition through varying levels of detail.

I run this on Medium setting, but I run everything else on High.

From my understanding basically any objects that render to the “Medium” distance will automatically render as high setting right?

Also, will this affect my line of sight? Meaning if I use Medium, I won’t be able to see WvW Players who are in the “High” setting area?

You are correct in your assumptions for the first question. Anything past the arbitrary medium distance will be rendered in less detail.

Culling in WvW has a different checkbox/option. LOD will still affect how sharp any player rendered at certain arbitrary distances will be though.
