LS2 After the Break - what to expect?
The break is more or less the same as last time, so expect more or less the same. Likely another Dry Top sized new map etc.

Pretty much this.
Basically we should see something identical in size/scope to S2 episode 1.
I want to hear my character’s voice already. But it will not happen
I expect nothing
yet i know i’ll still be disappointed.
“Gw2, It’s still on the Table!” – Anet

The one we all share?
having at least 3 voice options would’ve been great… oh man, here comes a new 1K gems feature, voice package (hey at least give me a cut Anet).
A new mini-map. And another 6 months break.
I don’t mind reusing other maps, as long as story is well-written and we discover small pieces of old puzzles… (please show moar largos!!!)
i expect more “NPE”, more outfits instead of armor skins, a half hour of watching npcs talking, 3 mins of fighting and another upgrade for the plant backpiece and probably the ley line armor skin…what frankly looks like something from WOW.
Expect nothing than disappointment and more unwanted shop items.
That thread about the future got me wondering…
After all this time on hiatus, will the next chapter of the Living Story be commensurately HUGE, full of new and exciting stuff? By which I mean, stuff that would be new and exciting even if it wasn’t bundled with the LS?
Avast, there be the possibility of Spoilers beyond this sentence!
How much more of Tyria will become accessible?
Will there be any new skills/traits/weapons?
Who will we want to kill this time for being mean to Taimi?
Will some wacky asura scientist devise a way to put Belinda’s ghost into a remarkably life-like golem? What, o fellow forumite, do you expect?
Same size and scope of content that was delivered for the fist part of LS2. Anet has yet to deliver much for any LS. How this equates to an “expansion worth or content” is beyond my reasoning.
It doesn’t seem like there’s much room for more than 3 chapters and then wintersday (since it starts in november). Maybe one more quarter-sized new region. That’s pretty much the best you can expect.
i would expect more of the same (solo-able instanced content w/ more of drytop opened up)….which i’m fine with…..until the last (or last couple) episodes, where their will be larger scaled instanced content (based around 10-15ish players)…..a precursor to raids. if they add larger scale instances, it can’t require too many players, or late-comers will never be able to complete them.

if LS 1 content was permanent (replay-able), that would have been pretty substantial.
LS 2…if it ends before next year, will likely be very underwhelming by comparison.

No you can’t have all LS maps made the same size. Dry Top was made this small because it was this small in GW 1. Other add on maps will be based on GW 1 or 2 sizes accordingly. They will be released in small chunks but will be overall bigger. The ideal would be the full map of a zone but don’t think it will happen every 2 weeks. I think a full map a month would be feasible.
I expect asura-based silliness, Braham bashing things, and Rox to still have anime eyes. I also expect I may . . . may . . . have finished Mawdrey by the time it ends.
The Tengu and the Dominion of Winds /sarcasm.
What to really expect:
- Expansion level content (one small map, maybe one new skill, armor or weapon skin)
- Lots of dialog in which you have zero choices
- Unskippable everything
- Still broken Personal Story and Zhaitan fight
I’m usually really sweet… but this an internet forum and you know how it has to be.
/i’m a lesbiab… lesbiam… less bien… GIRLS/
Greens and blues
Greens and blues
And maybe some Rares.
you will get two pvp maps thats for sure
I’m still hoping november will bring a new fractal patch, since both the dungeon and the fractured patch were released around that time. I’m gonna get my hopes crushed again, when will I learn… xD
Crazy idea…
Considering how many times players have speculated, hyped themselves up, then got furiously mad at Arena.net when the reality didn’t meet those speculations… you just… not hype yourselves up with rampant speculation?

Mmm, much like ArenaNet having interesting ideas and having troubles implementing them to work as they envisioned . . .
I suspect this is something you just can’t get away from.
Some small map and half a dozen instances where you fight tendrils. Done in two hours. Then they reveal a pause until christmas and continue LS after new year.
