I don’t know if anyone has noticed this before, I looked up the thing on the forums and there was no results.

There are several snow leopard cubs that you can save in the Bitter Cold area of Bitter frost frontier. If I recall there are 3 on top of the water fall.

When you save all 3, one of them starts to follow you around. And when you talked to it earlier, you will get the message that the cub is fond of you for saving it. Well when you return to your home instance..the cub is there as well and follows you around.

Edit: I came back to my home instance today and found dead birds that I could clean up? Maybe related?

The ‘dead bird’ is associated with one of the Hungry Cats you fed previously.

To search the forums, you must use another search tool, such as Google. There are a few Stickies around with instructions. You might find the other thread(s) on the topic in the Living World sub-forum. And, of course, in the Wiki.

Good luck.

Having gotten the snow leopard cub but no other cats (yet), I can confirm that it does leave a dead bird at the entrance.

Really! I guess more than one ‘cat’ leaves dead birds now. That, or it’s a bug.

(I have dead birds, and have for months; I have no snow leopard.)

Perhaps, it is no particular cat, but the fact one has any cat, at all.

Yeah I didn’t know about this, I saved the cub because i just so happened that I had the flame. When I went to my home instance later to do my gather, I noticed it then and made the connection.

I noticed this the other day. The first time I got up there I was just going for the mastery point so I had to go all the way back down, get the torch and come back up to thaw out the snowleopards.

I was only able to actually save 1 cub, the others (a cub and an adult) died when I thawed them out and there was no way to revive them. According to people on the map at the time that always happens.

It was a big surprise when I saw the snow leopard in my home instance afterwards, but a nice addition to the cats.

There is a Wiki page about them, but I don’t know if it records the fact that one will appear in your home instance, and it wasn’t included on the hungry cat scavenger hunt page. (I did look at adding it but I’m not familiar with wiki tables and didn’t want to break anything.)

It is on the Hungry Cats page, and has been for a couple of days. Perhaps, you missed it, or looked awhile back. =)
