I was clearing up inventory space a few days ago and deleted like 30 transmutation stones, I don’t expect to get them back… so now I have lost out of potentially 90 charges.

I think their biggest issue is communication. It would be nice if they are going to drastically change a system like this they would at least mention something about it instead of waiting until 1 month before releasing it.

Like the blog posts for example, they gave you months in advance what was coming to GW2. Granted there are a few features that didn’t make the cut, but it was a lot less disappointing than finding out you wasted your money/gold because of lack of communication.

People have recently earned the same legendary twice, bought abyss dye for 10 characters, etc. all of which could have been prevented with a mention of a system overhaul.

They have tried it before. People basically start misunderstanding and the company ends up not being able to answer since they don’t wanna spoil the content.

Not to mention the hype, hyping players over long periods of time make your expectations higher and also lead to ‘’this is taking too long, Anet should close GW2’’ etc.

It is about perspective I guess what is good and what is bad.

30 transmutation stones would be 10 transmutation charges.

This IS in advance. In your opinion, what is good enough advance? 6 months? A year? If they don’t state it at release date it should never happen? At least this isn’t no notice, like what happened with karma jugs ‘n such. People never be happy I guess. Hey, I have deleted a bunch of those too. ANet can’t save everyone everything they’ve ever done ever. Get over it.

I mean with that logic, I could say they didn’t give me enough advance notice back when they came out with the Wallet (since they’ve been working on this since then) and I deleted a bunch of my Trans Stones as well as a bunch of town clothes I had bought…

Thats just silly. Get off your entitled high horse. These changes are excellent QoL upgrades. Just go do some map completion and get them back.
