Guild Wars 2

I wish Anet could broaden their merchandise selection. As it is now, the products are really restricted. I would gladly support the game with my money if they could make some cool merchandise. The opportunities are endless!

Personally, I wish I could buy:

1. Personalized 3D model of your own character
( eg. FigurePrints)

2. Framed GW2 art work.
(maps like those from …..Skyrim)

3. Miniature weapons.

Why don’t they make these?

Feel free to list what you would like to buy.

I would buy GW2 FigurePrints in a heartbeat.

I tend to collect commissions over stock art, but I would consider nice 20$-40$ prints.

Actual Plush Griffon.

TShirts. Lots and lots of TShirts. Especially that black one with the grey tone 2 logo going down the left side they offered up before launch as one of the voted options. My WoW Swagdog shirts aren’t -me- any more!

Just not 50 bucks a shirt, please. I about died laughing when I saw that for the Razer shirt. I’d have bought it at 25, but 50? Just because I can afford it doesn’t mean I’m going to shell out for something that ridiculously overpriced.

I made a similar post quite a while ago and someone responded mentioning “that other game’s” available figures. I think Anet is totally missing out on a money making opportunity here. DCUO has collectible figures, too. The Rytlock figure was nice, but I didn’t want the other stuff that came with the special addition so I didn’t get it. The charr plush just isn’t my style (me being an over 50 yr old player). I still have my Master Sargent figure near my monitor, even though I haven’t played Halo in years. I’d love a Vigil heavy armor figure, maybe an Avatar of the Pale Tree, or some of Destiny’s Edge or the B-iconics. C’mon, Anet, call up Todd McFarlane and get busy manufacturing so we can throw our money at you!

Not surprising. NCSOFT games seem to do one run of merch and once it sells out that’s it. Doesn’t stop them from having some merch for trade shows but they are rarely offered for sale directly.

My vote would go to a real QUAGGAN BACKPACK (All colors and styles please) or the full size plush griffon. Or even better…….. the best of both worlds…

I vaguely remember another thread, or maybe a survey from ArenaNet? asking about merchandise. I had said, and still do:

Keychains, fuzzy dice-type ornaments for car or?, magnets, clothing (T-shirts, pajamas, hoodies, etc.), pens/pencils, patches, phone covers, decals (say, to customize your computer, etc.), wrist-bands/jewelry, wallets, mini-figurines, notebooks/stationery/paper-products….oh, 101 things!

Maybe with their soon-to-be China connection, we could get some more merchandise…?

I’ve been looking in Gaming stores and all over the web only to discover how little there is out there. We’ve already bought the mouse pads and have run into a brick wall after that.
Have a look at World of Warcraft and Minecraft and grab a few ideas.
Honestly, if there was coffee mugs or thermoses, I’d already have bought them in the last 5 minutes.

Miniatures of the best characters like The Mad King, Scarlet etcc.. and some mobs like aatxe or dragons world bosses! I would insta buy shatterer or behemoth __ oh god. Ah. NOT Queen Jenna please!

Still, a range of licensed merchandise would be appreciated. =)

I own a GW2 t-shirt, but the small is still too big for a woman of my size. It’s also a terribly uncomfortable material. I’d like to see some good quality female size shirts! (:

I know a few people who would buy a t shirt that shows a picture of a thief with the caption “teef ohpee”.

EDIT: or with a say bubble that says “L2P lol”.

Would be REALLY cool if you could have a group portrait of all your toons on the front of a Credit card..

I know WoW does single toons on their Visa card.. GW2 could do good with that one , especially if there is an incentive like 4000 free Gems if you sign up or something.

I have been drooling for the Lifestyle Logo one (first one shown, greyscale GW2 logo filling the tshirt) ever since. I understand that there are big contractual issues, and that if you do sell tshirts you or your contractor have to be able to handle potentially hundreds of thousands or even millions of orders. Was there some logistics or liability problem that made you nix the idea? I could see going through ThinkGeek or Woot, or even SwagDog if they still do that sort of thing.

Again, there is no urgency to this. Please help those with actual problems first! I’m leaving all the payment fields blank because they don’t apply to this. There just wasn’t a ticket category that applied so “purchases” seemed the best fit. "

I have a GW2 shirt too, but I had to order it from Europe (I’m in NA); this is an american company, what gives!
I bet there’s tons of people just waiting for GW2 merch (including me), and all the people walking around with their Quaggan backpacks will only help advertise the game more!
