Ok, I have a friend who makes plushie fern hounds, in a variety of sizes. She can’t mass produce them, naturally, but who wouldn’t want one of these? She does them crouching or sitting, and the tail is free to wag.

I just looked at the Shop and there are slim pickings when it comes to merch. Aside from an awesome-looking Charr plush, we just have a few novels, an art book and a strategy guide.

Plus the Charr is not Tybalt!!!!!

Problem with RW game merch is that not company wants to be stuck with inventory. Which is why they might have shirts at launch but choose not to restock once supplies are gone.

Simple solution to that. Use cafepress or such.

GW2 tanktops,…heck you could even do a GW2 skirt or dress, that would be cool!!

I’d like to see the GW2 Jeremy Soule cd pack offering again – I’d definitely would jump at the chance to buy it.

I know some of these are not official merchandise items (inspired by GW2) but if you google Guild Wars 2 and select shopping you can see in the first couple of pages at least

World of Warcraft has this thing called Figureprints.

That would be totally cool… though with the amount of detail that goes into GW2 characters, as well as customization…. I don’t think it will ever become a reality.

I would be fine if they just re-released the Artbooks.

However other Ideas:

- Pins (skill pins, like in GW1. Commander Taco. Race Signs, etc… )

- Figurines of key characters

- Official Apps (Newsfeed for example)

- Clothing (T-Shirts, Hoodies, Scarfs, Beanies, Sweatband)

- Keyring ornament

- A simple Cardgame with Artwork on it (Poker cards. Queen Jenna as Queen for example)

- Plushies (Charrs, Quaggan, etc…)

- SD-Figurines. Like these from POP! or so.

Just a few ideas, which were certainly be mentioned before.

Action figures of your actual character would be fantastic. A 3D printer could easily do this as ANet have all the information from your account at their fingertips. Then it would need dressing in armour but they could offer choices from a selection.

If ANet started doing this then I honestly have no idea how much money I would be willing to pay to have my two fave chars standing on my desk.

There are companies that can churn this merchandise out at breakneck speed with zero to minimal cost to Anet. There is nothing but profit to be made. Hopefully their current legal team up to par with liscencing approvals.
How Anet has not even thought about it yet is beyond words. This is how you grow customers, retain customers and create lifestyle branding that insures lasting marketshare.

Is it me or does it seem kind of weird that the strategy guide is in the store? One would think after the game has changed so much it would be rather useless today.

Anet are totally missing a trick here. I already have tons of gw2 stuff, I buy t shirts etc from places like Redbubble, (Excelsior!, and More Violets Less Violence which is super gorgeous) and I have a brilliant quaggan hat my brother bought me for my birthday, don’t know where he got it from though. I’d pay almost anything for a quaggan backpack, it would have to be a proper one though, with the button eye hanging off and the little fishy zipper

And plushies…I love plushies, don’t think I could resist hilarious ones like risen or skritt or….how about a golem one that when you squeeze it it plays the musical good-morning, good-morning, good-morning thing you hear in Metrica sometimes? I already have that as my ringtone and a different version for my alarm tone

Gw2 T shirt, Bandana and Shattered Figurine. I also have all the art books but those are nothing new. I would love to see a white Hoodie with the red GW2 logo on it or maybe a beanie.

I’d consider buying action figures or figurines. Only if they weren’t limited edition in the same way those statues were.

- Artwork, either in framed or artbook form
- A lore book.
- Kindle/ipad covers. They’d prob be outsourced and made to order though, with a range of designs from brand to concept artwork. Could work out expensive, but would look stylish.

I would love to see iron on patches of the professions, the orders and of the races. Car decals would be awesome too.

Something else would be that you guys seem to sell the wall prints. Seeing more of those would be great. Different places, some with the dragons, or maybe custom ones that we can put our own characters in. Different sizes would be wonderful as well in case someone doesn’t want the whole wall covered.
