With the recent revival of old threads in the dungeon forum I found old posts from Anet on important issues.

Booted from dungeon because of party leader

Show which dungeons you’ve done

Objects immune to condition damage

Condition stack

All these posts are over a year old. What happened? I am sad seeing these issues still here one year later. Give us an update! Did the reconstruction of the teams to make room for Living World really leave no one in charge of the rest of the game? It sure feels like it!

There is no dungeon team.

At least Robert will live on in the game through the heart quest in Metrica Province.

Objects immune to condition damage shouldn’t be so hard to change. Off the top of my head there’s the golem in CoE and the last boss in HotW p1 that have objects essential to the boss fight (although most people just zerk them down). The ice pillar in the Snowblind Fractal is an object. Can’t they just go into the object and make it “living” so conditions affect them?

Last time we heard of the condition stack it was engine restrictions, but if it’s so restrictive redesign them!

Every week we hear about someone getting booted from a dungeon, and if it’s possible for the leader to leave (alt-f4 the game, let them kick you), surely it can’t be so hard (over a year to (not) implement) to make it that if you leave the party, only you get kicked out.

The one that shows dungeons.. well.. can’t you just add the checking off of a dungeon when the dungeon chest pops up? Then have an NPC or Item display (through a dialog menu) which ones are done, temporarily, until you can implement it into the UI in a more stylish manner.

On the condition damage topic, there is a good post about it on these forums (started on 12/17):

https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Why-is-condition-damage-intentionally-restricted/first

Short version:
The condition stacking limit on a target is ‘bad’
The stack limit means condition characters do less damage in groups than they do when playing solo.
The stack limit makes direct damage better than condition damage in group settings because direct damage is never reduced by the number of people applying it.
Anet knows this is an issue and has acknowledged it (10/2012 and 2/2013 in these forums).
Anet has not said how they will fix it, if they they will fix it, or when they will fix it.

Frustrating…
But I have some tiny hope that if we make enough noise Anet will take some action. Because this is a real issue for many professions/builds, it hurts build diversity, and hurts the game.
