Language filter vs non-English punctuation marks
I am guessing it’s because the word is “bow” not “blow”. Also, it’s unreasonable to ask a filter to covers all possible bad words.
Thanks Zaken… I didn’t even notice that it was “bow” vs “blow”… that’s how psychologically effective the name is. Now that I see what the person’s name actually is… No, I am not expecting the name filter to pick up on this kind of instance, since “bowjobz” is not offensive. Since I ‘read’ the name as “blow”, I thought it was bypassing the filter because of the umlauts. The player’s language is a different issue…
Expecting the name filter to pick up bad words that use non-English punctuation marks is not unreasonable. My original assertion is that if kitten is not allowed… then neither should ähole.
LoLz… Well after previewing this post… I can see that, at least on the forum, the language filter needs work. There should be TWO “kitten” replacements in my post.
CLARIFICATION TO THE MODERATORS: I did not intend to bypass the filter, it was unintentional. I just picked a word I didn’t think would be filtered, that I could use an umlaut in, as an example. I am leaving my previewed post as is, to address the problem.

We both know what the player intended the name to look like and used “bow” to bypass the filter. Why do people think that’s clever is beyond me. I only have one conclusion for people like that but I am keeping that to myself LOL
