My favorite thing to do in all of Gw2 is to explore….So my friend and I were just wandering around and thought of a great idea! We are going to find the Largest cliff in Tyria! So far the largest cliff we have found was a Very large cliff in the BloodTide coast above the chancery of secrets. We were woundering If anyone has found a larger cliff :0 Comment below!

Try the cliff behind Dwayna’s Temple in Malchior’s Leap where the Vista is. Second. there’s a cliff in east Kessex Hills where strawberries grow and diving goggles. Those two seem like the highest that I remember seeing.

Pretty sure the largest drop is the already mentioned Malchior’s Leap cliff. You can also climb to the very top of Mount Maelstrom, not the vista, there is another route to a higher spot.

There’s some incredibly high mountains and cliffs in the Timberline Falls region (50-60) including the falls themselves i believe off the top of my head are pretty large!

The furthest distance from ground to an area you can reach is probably in Rata Sum. The actual highest elevation, I imagine, is in the Shiverpeaks. It doesn’t necessarily mean it will LOOK tall from your own perspective in that zone, though. Actually, considering the real height variations in the terrain from Kryta into the Deldrimor areas, you don’t go uphill very often, which is strange.

I think Rata Sum has a false floor though, you just respawn at a certain point instead of going all the way down. Although, I’ve never made it past the pyramid yet to confirm; I keep dying on little plates and protusions.

I’ve managed to jump off Rata Sum, it is in fact possible, however after falling for quite a bit, your character dies in midair and falls into the water below (Or to land, if you manage to jump from a section over land). My guess is that there’s a set fall distance that you can fall, and after that you get max fall damage as a failsafe (you wouldn’t want to start falling through the ground and find out that your fall would last indefinitely).
