No, there is no known cap. I have nearly 300 myself and know of people around 500. Since it is part of the wallet, and other items in the wallet have no limit, it stands to reason that laurel’s also have no limit.
It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
It’s definitely over 100. I can’t say if there’s a cap, but I have over 100 now and haven’t been capped.
I have JUST UNDER 200 laurels and I know a couple guildmates with over 500 so I can say without doubt, IF there is a cap it’s over 500.

So yeah, it is for sure over 100.
