So I know that the Daily PvE grants a Laurel and the Monthly PvE grants Laurels.

What about Monthly PvP? I did my daily PvP yesterday and received no Laurel. I assume that this applies to the monthly as well but could anyone confirm/object?

You don’t get laurels for daily pvp unfortunately. Not sure if this is intended or not. I hope it will change, because it would have drawn more people into the pvp scene.

The only issue then is that people could then earn twice as many laurels a day.

So I doubt this will occur.

Another quick question. Are Laurel’s account bound?

They are 1 currency for whole account yes

That would basically make PvP required, which is not good. I wouldn’t mind if you got a laurel from whichever you completed first though, so you have a choice.

Well it’s still optional it just gives you an extra reward. Don’t think that should be a reason to only let normal daily and monthly count for Laurels. But I don’t get the point in adding Laurels anyway, since we already have the Achievement points that are useless. Why not just let us buy stuff with that :P Or at least give us a few Laurels for completing a tab of Achievements or something like that. Just daily will get boring pretty fast.

But they will have worked twice as hard for them, so that works out, right? =D

The best solution would probably be to combine pvp and pve dailies in a large selection where you get “Daily Completion” by completing x out of y dailies. By completing a selection of PvE OR PvP dailies, the players would be suitably rewarded.

Anet are indeed looking into this, well at least something very similar anyways. Not so much combining PvP and PvE dailies (at least not anything I’ve read) but the x out of y dailies for completion as you’ve said.
