Where do you guys spend your Laurels?
I’ve been playing since this game came out (most days just quick log on for the daily, but I love exploring when I have time to sit and play), and have farmed up a massive amount of Laurels… but I’m still not sure what is the best way to spend them.

Is the Warrior Gear (5 Laurel) box worth it?
I already have full Draconic Berserker’s gear, but wondering if salvaging/selling (if able to sell) is a good way of converting Laurel into money lol…

I know that there are some great accessories, and I’m keeping an eye on them… but I was just wondering if they were the best items to get. (Red Ring of Death)

(I just recently made a mesmer for lulz… would it be good to get Mesmer gear boxes with his laurels? I don’t plan to farm much or fund him lol)

How have you farmed a massive amount of laurels? I only have 12, but I haven’t completed my February monthly yet. That would give me only 22 even if I did.

I haven’t used any of mine yet. I’m going to get the amulet first and that is 30 laurels. (I think)

I think “best” item to get is subjective. There was another thread about what people were going to do with their laurels and there seemed to be a lot of different answers on the things people wanted.

I saw a couple posters say they bought the gear boxes and they were worth it, and some posters said they weren’t. I can’t find it right now, but maybe if you look around you can.

OP, you do realize that laurels were just implemented in-game at the beginning of this month right?

I plan on saving mine for ascended gear, particularly the MF/GF infusions

Speaking of which, I’ve been wondering which infusions everyone plans on going with. I’m thinking the 20% gold find would be the most valuable for a set I plan on wearing for dungeon runs, although I could be argued into the magic find infusion as well. It’s kind of selfish, but sacrificing +5 or whatever to a single stat in exchange for +20% MF/GF seems like a no brainer.

I am the same way, let me play how I want. If I wanna use mf/gf, let me do it. I will still hold my own in a dungeon, otherwise I woudn’t be going in. I am sure there will be folks saying “lf1m CoF, no MF/GF infusions” going about lol…

Saving mine for ascended gear/infusions. Then probably the minis. (That puts me probably till around August if I’m super lazy) After that probably boxes to try to get ectos.

OP, you do realize that laurels were just implemented in-game at the beginning of this month right?

As of right now if you did the monthly and all dailies you would have 23 laurels, not 22.

I’ve wondered, can’t these be salvaged for ectos? That would be 5 laurels for a potential 5 ectos.
