On the gem store is the Lawless skins. We have boots, gloves, shoulders and helmet yet no chest piece or leg piece. Why? When they first started to come out I thought and other players thought it was going to be a full set. Nope guess that was wrong to think.

Did Anet just give up on this or was there some logical reason why the would deign and introduce this armor skin set and leave it incomplete with no chest piece or leg piece?

I think that was all there is to it. To be honest, I think the Lawless pieces on their own is not as good looking as most of the other armor sets’ individual pieces—especially the lawless helmet.

anet implemented the pieces back when they were still committed to making sure Each class tier was distinguishable on the battle field. They didnt want an Ele to be able to look like a thief or a guardian or a warrior to be able to appear as a necro or mesmer etc..

Later the gave that up and removed town clothes and created full Outfits and let everyone look the same.

It’s just a timing thing really.

Call me xenaphobic, but I never thought the Lawless gear was really up to snuff anyhow.

Almost none of the gem store sets have legs and chests. Those take more work and can’t just be copied and pasted onto the different races by varying the sizes. The time/profit ratio is not favorable enough for them to do this.

Gloves, shoulders, head and boots are ~80% of the stuff they’ve added.
