Guild Wars 2

So, since the upcoming leaderboards will be PvP, PvE, and WvW I wasn’t sure where to put this. But basically in the released info you said the WEBSITE wont be viable by players for X amount of time. My question is will it be a website? As in will I have to alt tab, enter in a special URL To find the leaderboards. I feel like maybe somehow allowing people to access it in game without having to alt tab and go to a website like the forums/wiki might be better. I appreciate the leaderboards being added, I was just curious if it is really difficult to make it accessible in-game too? Maybe a redpost to explain the decision if they choose between website and ingame.

Ummmm my counter question could be would it really be too difficult just to check the site once a day or whatever, perhaps just before logging in or out for the day? Honestly I can’t imagine this being a feature we would need to check too often to warrant it being done so ingame.

Heck even just accessing the Trading Post for me has problems sometimes and this uses the type of system you are asking for. I get the message sometimes that I have to be logged in to access the TP. Hello I AM logged in obviously and PLAYING the game if I am trying to open the TP. So this just tells me they have issues already as it is with these type of systems in place within the game.
