Guild Wars 2

Hey guys,

I see mentions lately about how a portion of the GW2 team left ANet prior to launch. If thats true, does anyone know where they might have gone or ended up? If they were behind the game we were told about and left because of the game we were going to get, I think I’d be interested to check their current ideas.

Any info?

Not sure about the teams, but 2 of the 3 founders of Arenanet were confirmed to have left some time during development (or after, I’ve forgotten which and if anyone can confirm that would be great), look up Jeff Strain and Patrick Wyatt.

Jeff left back in 2009. Founded his own studio and was working on a Zombie console game.

Patrick left in 2010, for EME and gave us TERA.
