Hi all. Just bought the game and i have a little question about the legacy armor skin. If i double click it and use the skin for an item, will be perma used for that item or i can use the skin for every item i want, everytime i want?

One-time use. But you can use a transmutation stone to apply it to other gears of the same type.

You will be able to use it again if you use Transmutation Stones or Crystals to put the look on a new set of armor (on the same character).

There is a way to get it over to another character with a Transmutation Splitter and a Stone or Crystal but the armor will only be able to be used on one set of items at a time.

It will be perma used for that item. However, you can still transmute from that item to new items anytime you want by consuming a transmutation stone.

The skin will be ‘’perma-used’’ so you could level up all the way to 80 and then use the skin on your high-level armor.

But! You can use your skin now, and then use Transmutation Stones to give the look over to new armor. Since you are new I suppose you are leveling, and you will gain armor very fast, so the skin will be outdated all the time, and you will probably waste a lot of Transumtation Stones.

As an FYI, Transmutation Stones (used on item lvls <80) drop frequently from your personal story and zone completions. I’ve still got a stack of almost 100 of them I believe from leveling 2 characters.

The Transmutation Crystals (lvl 80 items) on the other hand are quite rare and mostly need to be purchased from the gem store. You can purchase them with ingame gold by using the currency converter on the gem store.

Legacy Armor? You mean the one you get if you also played GW1 to a certain extent? Because you can get that armor skin again and again and again from your Hall of Monuments. So yes, it is permanently on that item, but you can reacquire that particular skin over and over again for new items.

HoM armors look and are handled differently than the Legacy set that comes with the Digital Deluxe Edition.

I believe you are thinking of Heritage Armor, which is accessible in the Hall of Monuments, not Legacy Armor that is provided with the Heroic Editions of the game. =)

Ahhh sorry, kinda kixed that up ^^° What skin is Legacy armor again? (I bought the CE on release, which didn’t include special armor)

Those originally found in the Gem Store. Profane, and whatever the other two are called.

Thx all for help. Think it was a mistake to open the chest with this items, wasted a bit of space. Anyway, as a newb question, if i destroy the items, will i be able to get them again without buying em from the gem store?

No. If all you did was open the chest and get the items why don’t you just put them in your bank until you need them?
