Guild Wars 2

The quality of the legendary appearances comes in very wide ranges. The problem is that there is only one legendary per weapon type, so if you don’t like the theme of the legendary of your favorite weapon type, too bad. I personally DESPISE the looks of Kudzu and Dreamer (the long and short bows, respectively), which sucks since I’m a ranger. I also dislike the look of the spear and speargun. It ultimately comes down to personal preference, though.

What is your favorite and least favorite legendary and why?

Favorite: The Dreamer. The Dreamer is the most hilarious thing ever. Unfortunately, my main can’t use bows. I’m going for the Minstrel or the Moot because they’re the goofiest things I can use.

Least Favorite: Rodgort. The name is, sadly, the best thing about it. It’s not impressive looking, nor is it fun. It’s just…kind of there.

Favourite: Bolt. Lightning and shizzle – love it.

Least Favourite: Quip. 5-10 shots and I already lose the will to live. That was just hearing someone else use it.

Favourite: Meteorlogicus, I know this isn’t the most popular legendary but I think this has the best artwork. It looks amazing it just lacks in the effects.

Least Favourite: Twilight/Sunrise, I think it actually looks very cool and the concept is amazing but everyone and their dog is going for this legendary.

Favorite: Mine.

Least favorite: Yours.

The Flameseeker Prophecies, because it’s beautiful.

Unfortunately none of my characters wields a Shield, though I am tempted to start a Guardian for that very reason.

Favorite : Juggernaut

Reason : I recently crafted this, right after making and equipping it i was so dissapointed because it didnt have any of the cool effects like twilight and sunrise, but then i unsheathed the weapon and wow… Juggernaut is the only legendary that makes your ARMOR look legendary instead of some thing you hit monsters with :P This legendary is by far unique….

Worst: Unfortunatly most… One of my friend recently got incernator or however you write it and sadly the visual effect on most weapons are so minor I wonder if it is worth the cost

Favorite: Kudzu. I don’t have it (yet), but when I do, it will fit my sylvari very, very well.

Leas Favorite: The Dreamer. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against rainbows or unicorns. I honestly like the legendary staff, Bifrost, which is all about rainbows, but it does it in an interesting way. The Dreamer just crosses me the wrong way. A legendary should have a “WOW!” to it, and all I’ll got from seeing that one was “LOL, why would anyone waste their time on such a ridiculous looking weapon?”

The Dreamer fires rainbows instead of arrows, so I think it’s awesome. Kraitkin looks really good, too bad it looks like there is exactly one person willing to craft it.

My favorite is Sunrise, I know, everybody loves the greatswords …

Favourite: The ones with large visual effects (Juggernaut, Sunrise, Bolt etc)

Least Favourite: The ones with trash effects (Meteorlog. , Incinerator most of them actually)

My fav would have to be Twilight, personally. It just looks so cool. I’m still trying to decide whether my ranger will get that or Bolt. My ranger’s number one preference is short bows, but again, hate the dreamer. As Amiron said, legendaries should wow your companions and intimidate your enemies, not laugh at how silly your weapon is.

Favourite: The Axe

Least Favourite: The Mace… seriously, that one is a joke, isn’t it?

Favorites: #1. Meteorlogicus #2. Howler #3. Bolt

Least Favorites: Minstrel, Sunrise, Frostfang (looks almost exactly like the corrupted axe)

Favorites:
1 Incinerator dagger. Explosions all over. BURN!
2 Bolt sword. The body effects outdo every weapon.
3 Frostfang axe. I just really love ice related things.

Dislike:
Quip pistols. As if pistols weren’t flawed enough. This ones just pure awfulness imo. The sounds super annoying. Should of made laser, or alien pistols. (I play too much Fallout.)
The Moot mace. It’s just… boring.

Favorite: Kudzu. It’s just so pretty!
Kitten??: Moot. The dance club wants their ball back.

The moot does seem bad, because it’s appearance is so dull. Are its effects bad?

No it’s nice, very bright and shiny like a disco ball.

Favorite: Bolt. The lightning effect it adds to the whole character is pretty awesome, in my opnion.

Least Favorite: Quip. It’s just overall lame. The look, the shooting effect, and the sound. This weapon honestly irks me, and it saddens me that I’m an engie with a pistol/pistol build, so I’ll never have a legendary to show off (unless they release new ones later on). I’m aware that The Predator is really neat, too, but I enjoy my pistol/pistol build far too much to look into rifle builds.

I didn’t see anything wrong with the bows and wow the speargun and trident looked awesome. Too bad they’re only for underwater use

Favorite: The Flameseeker Prophecies because of how it looks.

Least Favorite: Dreamer because MLP freaks pushing their kitten in our face again.

Both of these always make me stop and stare when I see a player with them.

Least favorite: Any of the underwater weapons, you never see them!

Juggernaut, and just the effect on armour, the hammer skin I don’t care.

Now the rest of the legendaries, I think look lame.
Who ever the designer is, must have a thing for “My Little Pony”.
One great thing is, I won’t be spending any time & gold on making one. :o)

Favorites:
Twilight, Kudzu and Bolt. I plan to have all 3 with ranger. Once I get map completion with alt, I get bolt for sure.

Least favorite: Sceptor, Mace, pistol. They seem to be out of touch and none legendary if you ask me.

Worst I have seen is the Quip. Sure, its “graphical components” are quite bad, but by god those sound effects.
