I hope not. As it stands, it costs about the same amount to make one piece of ascended armor as it does to make one ascended weapon. Good luck with your 20,000 gold set of armor.

if there ever is something like legendary armor.. it should be class specific in design and not a lukewarm something like the ascended sets.. thats atleast my opinion on it

I’m pretty sure those are the armors worn by the legendary defenders at the WvW starting forts.
