I love the idea of the new legendary armor and that it transforms, nifty plan, give that guy a cookie. Some will like the design, others won’t, but with regards to the medium set, I am begging you… Please… No more trenchcoats, they are hideous and awful. It feels somewhat impossible to get a good medium set and we have too many trenchcoats already so before you settle on a design can you please move away from them.

Just wondering what others feel about medium sets and trenchcoats, yay or nay? For me it is a resounding NAY.

Most people will say nay because they’re tired of most of the medium armors being trench coats. It’s actually pretty sad how with heavies and lights you get more variety, but with mediums you have very few choices if you don’t like trench coats.

I totally agree… I don’t want to have another trenchcoat, and for legendary armor they should find something that looks unique. The heavy armor we could see in the preview looks a lot like human t3 on first sight, but that animation is quite cool. Let’s hope medium armor gets finished next, I can’t wait to see it.

The legendary medium will be the trenchiest of trenchcoat, the coatiest among the trenches.. it will be.. A TRENCH!

I liked the trench coat thing the first 75578325 times I saw it. But this game seriously overdid it. I hope the legendary set moves away from trench coats.

the legendary heavy looked A LOT like the envoy armor, so I think the medium and heavy will look a lot like their envoy models respectively as well. It will be animated, but I doubt the medium and light set can deploy the mechanical expansion the heavy deploys. the light set will propably become magically active. the medium set.. hhm.. I can’t really think of anything.

I think a trench coat is inevitable, but I hope they at least take advantage of the animation thing, to make it a transforming trench coat. Make it so that when out of combat it’s not a trench coat, it ends right around the belt-line, but that when combat begins, the tails flow out of the back, whoosh!

If they want to go super fancy, take advantage of the fact that most Medium jackets and pants cover up the boots, and make it so that when out of combat, you have long pants and sleeves that leave the gloves and boots as just hand gloves and shoes, but when in combat, the gloves and boots grow up the arms and shins. That might be trickier to coordinate when players mix and match, but I don’t think it would be impossible to do, they’d just need to make the armor versions chunkier than normal sleeves and pants.
