for the current set of legendary weapons, there is only one for each type of weapon, except for the greatsword, dusk (twilight) and dawn (sunrise) combined into eternity.

how would it be for the legendary armor?
x1 heavy armor set ?
x1 medium armor set ?

x1 light armor set ???

1 of each? just 3 sets (heavy, medium, light) of legendary armor?
now that would really boring since everyone would be wearing the same set of armor.

since legendary weapons can swap stats, it is safe to assume that legendary armor will be able to swap stats as well.

if we are only getting 1 set for each type and total 3 sets, it would be so much better if the legendary armor will allow us to swap different armor skins once unlocked.

as a bonus, might as well swap the armor runes as well as different types of infusions too.

well, if there are more than 1 set for each type (heavy, medium, light) then the question is, how many sets of legendary armor would that be?

in the end, it would not be enough.
your legendary armor will never be unique.
it is not legendary at all.

let legendary armor be able to swap different armor skins, let people mix and match their own sets of armor. as well as armor runes and infusions. freely. without extra cost.

now that alone might be legendary worthy.

else, it is just ugly skins with unreasonable amount of grind involved.

oh, and for legendary trinkets, we should be able to swap the stats.
and swap the icons too since there is no display skin to swap.

otherwise, just like ascended gear be able to swap stats. and skins.
not everyone fancies the ugly legendary skins.

Given the reaction to the looks of the Ascended armor, I expect a lot of transformation crystals will be used.

Given the reaction to the looks of the Ascended armor, I expect a lot of transformation crystals will be used.

i will just slap my heritage armor skins onto them, if i decide to get ascended armor.

still no news of legendary armor yet?

i do hope legendary armor can allow us to swap the skins, or else everyone will going to look the same.

so how many sets of legendary armor does everyone else thinks there will be?

we have

heavy armor
medium armor
light armor

if there is only 1 of each, then everyone will look the same
i.e.
x1 heavy armor
x1 medium armor
x1 light armor

even if there will be 10 sets for each, i.e.

x10 heavy armor
x10 medium armor
x10 light armor

people will look the same also, if many people go for legendary armor, though with a bit more variety, i.e. 30 different sets of legendary armor.

and only perhaps the few popular ones will have more people wearing it.

please, for the love of kittens, let legendary armor be able to swap skins.
then everyone will be unique. able to mix and match whatever armor skins they want to, without losing the “legendary” status of the armor.

Ever fought dwayna with 100+ people?

That’s pretty much what I want to look like when wearing legendary armor.

It’s comparable to looking at the sun, you can’t really even see her through all the blinding light.

We don’t know if it will be a legendary back item – or – one legendary trinket. I’ve seen the interview, we can’t tell yet.

well i really hope they expand the stats changing function of the legendary weapons to non legendary weapons.

the existing legendary weapons are …
well, i do not find them appealing or attractive.

If they go with armor I expect there will only be a legendary helmet or coat (initially). The hassle of filling a whole armor set makes me want to claw out my eyes in dread.

For a trinket, we’ll almost certainly see an amulet or back item. If the do ring or accessory, the fact we have two each of those slots opens a huge can of worms. Since the want the legendary trinket to impart some sort of visual effect, it’ll be an a slot you can only get one to avoid FX conflicts. And since they want the effect to be unique, it’ll probably be the amulet to avoid competing with people’s fondness for back items they already have. Decide between your Tequatl-wings or a legendary effect… or set things up to not force the choice at all. No contest in my mind. Amulet slot. bet on it.
