looking at pvp and WvW which is flooded with titles
yet PvE content is lacking in titles which actually mean anything

there are tons of achievements that I believe should offer a title for completing
Jumping puzzle master title (Complete all the Jumping Puzzles)
Tyrian Master Slayer (Complete all the Slayer achievments)
Weapon Master Title (Complete all weapon achievements)
Legendary Hunter/Collector Title (equip all Legendary weapons)
King of Costume Brawl Title (become king of costume brawl 500 times)
Thirst Slayer or Drunken Master Title (complete thirst slayer)
Pillar of the Community title (complete all community achievements)
Decorated Hero Title (complete all hero achievements)
Tyrian Cartogropher (complete all explorer achievements)
Seriously I could go on and on and on I’ve got tons of these

The problem is that the achievement isn’t for crafting a legendary, but for equipping it. So you can easily buy the title.

While I agree with what you said, the same could be said for the miniatures. All it takes is a friend with all the mini’s to send them to you, you put them in your collection and then you have the title. Then you just send the mini’s back to your friend.
At least with buying the legendary, that takes a huge amount of gold to buy 5 of them. Plus once they get equipped, you cant just sell them off again. So with that you sill technically earned the title by buying the legendary with that much gold I suppose.

Oh yeah, I’m in no disagreement on this part at all. Fully support the idea for Legendary title. It would be nice to have rather than just 5AP. I just wanted to highlight buying/crafting part of the deal, since he specifically mentioned “Crafting a Legendary(s)”.
I see what you are saying. That would be a better way if doing it. Instead of getting the title for just equipping them. Make a title for the actual crafting of the legendaries. I don’t know how they would track something like that but I can see that being it instead of the current achievement.
