1 Bloodstone Shard (200 Skill Points)
250 Obsidian Shard (21000 Karma Each so 5,250,000??)
Gift of Exploration (World 100% lololo)
1 Gift of Battle (500 Badges from WvW)

5 million Karma or did I do the math wrong?

Obsidian Shards are 2,100 karma each, not 21,000.

Legendarys were meant to actually be legendary. So not everyone is going to have one or even want to put in the effort to get one. Those that do want them will put in the effort and be rewarded for it.

If you view it as pixels in a game then just find a cheap armor/weapon skin you like and focus on another aspect of the game.
