I just made my SUNRISE like 3 days ago..and planning to make my next legendary.,twilight would be great and combine it with sunrise to make eternity but.,eternity doesnt have trail effects thats why i thought combining them is worthless.

I hope anet will come up with something about the trail effects.thank you..

i dont see the point of makin eternity. I mean if you keep twilight/sunrise you can use them which ever time of day you like.

Ugh sunrise with twilights’ hilt is not worthless.

it doesn’t? i thought it was just twilight at night and sunrise during the day…. huh maybe that’s why it costs 2300 and the other two cost 1900 even though eternity takes two to make?

Ya if im going to make eternity i want people to recognize that it is eternity not sunrise/twilight lol.

No, the blade changes between day and night but the hilt is always twilights’ hilt.

So if you see a sunrise with a grey hilt you know that person has eternity!

Personally i like the look of Sunrise better than Twilight. Has alittle more “flare” than just a cliche black blade :P

You have done one and now you are going for the other?

For months i have been stuck with all the gifts for twilight waiting to get a dusk somewhere, at this rate i will reach 700g and will buy one.

But this really sucks, some people get like 2 pre cursors in 1 month others can farm 1 year and get nothing.

As an owner of Eternity, I can tell you that’s not the case. When Eternity looks like Sunrise, the hilt is also that of Sunrise. There are many glitches with Eternity, but the hilts aren’t one of them.

They should have split the hilts of Sunrise and Twilight down the middle ala He-Man’s/Skeletor’s sword and had the two halves stuck together back to back, then had the blade cycle between day and night to show passage of time…aka Eternity.

They could also have one foot leave the Sunrise trail and the other leave the Twilight trail.

A: if u reAlly want a precursor u will farm for it.,in my case i got
Zap from mystic forge and sold it and bought dawn.,tho i really failed trying to get dusk/ dawn using rare gs.luckily i got zap

Honestly, right now Eternity isn’t worth making maybe if they changed how it looks completely from that of sunrise or twilight it may be worth while but rt now it would be better to just have two of your characters use one or the other. Making sunrise myself, those charged lodestones have become a pain to farm since pent/shelt nerf; no one ever seems to uncontest that area….

To add insult to injury, charged lodestones are back on the rise since now they are needed for Wings of dwyana bow…..figure ANet would learn to make a recipe use something OTHER than charged lodestones…..luckily i only need 19 more and im done with em for Sunrise

You are aware that bottlenecking both kits is pretty clearly intentional – the only reason the prices dropped was oversupply during the very small gap in the middle there…

Why bottleneck is much more interesting, methinks there is more going on than the most simple time gate.
