Legendary Skins?
You would need to equip it (not likely since it’ll prob be soulbound to the person loaning it to you), salvage it or account bind it…..
You wouldn’t be able to return it after any of those options…
Not to mention I don’t think you’d get the transmuted skin for salvaging it. Likely you’d get whatever the skin was prior to transmute.
Hypothetically speaking if after the April 15th patch I borrowed a legendary skin from someone and then returned it, will I keep the skin of the legendary to apply to my other weapons? Thoughts below please
Nope – it has to be account bound. Just borrowing it does nothing.
Something I don’t get it, so is it the legendary weapon can become skin after 15/04. Like I got eternity on my Mesmer, is that mean I can use sunrise, twilight, or eternity as skin on my guardian,(but still keep the original weapon on my mesmer)?

Yes it does, you can also move your Eternity(actual item) to your guardian from your mesmer without the use of splitters and transmutation.
This I hear before. legendary become account bound, but if so how other people can tell. if that’s a true legendary weapon or skin?

If its other people, they have to get you to ping the item and if it’s legendary grade stats(no stats shown), it’s a legendary item, otherwise it’s not.
Other than that, there is absolutely no difference aesthetically.
I think calling the transformations that will be available after the patch a “skin” is the problem here. No actual “skin” item will exist for the available appearances listed in your wardrobe….you will just apply them to your existing items (that MUST be soulbound if you have them equipped). While they have not specifically stated it, I don’t think you will be able to apply the wardrobe appearances to non-equipped items.
