I don’t understand this, I’ve spent over 10 thousands of gold making 12+ legendary weapons before the crafting/collection quests. Why should I have to spend even MORE gold to craft a weapon I already have to obtain new bonus items?

I just want to be clear in saying, Ive also made HOPE with the new system and loved the collection parts. Its just Part II with the massive gold sink in each legendary crafting that makes me never want to do these quests for weapons I already have. Ive already spent that gold on making the legendary from before.

Theres no point in crafting 2 Juggernauts, and I would really love to have the Mystic Chromatic Ooze item for my account as I spent over 2k gold in the past to make Juggernaut. How is this fair to veteran people who created so many legendaries before a system we had no idea would happen, and now it give bonus items?

You could craft The Colossus and sell it, keeping the Mystic Chromatic Ooze. You’ll need a significant amount of initial investment, and you’ll probably lose gold on the deal in the end, but that’s because it’s cheaper to just buy a The Colossus than to craft it. I totally understand not loving that option, but it’s an option.

Items like the Mystic Chromatic Ooze do make the crafting-is-more-expensive situation a bit more appealing. Interesting. I’m going to have to see what other gizmos collections provide…

Pretty crappy there is no special incentive for crafting Bifrost. Considering the massive cost…

You didn’t craft the precursor: you bought it or got it as a lucky drop. The people getting the chromatic ooze did a massive scavenger hunt and you have the option to do that, too.

I think it’s reasonable to ask why every precursor collection lacks a similar keepsake, but I don’t think it’s reasonable to ask to be given the keepsake to those of us (including myself) who didn’t go through the collection.

And I said I loved doing the collection parts for HOPE and Im currently on Part III of new shortbow. But my problem is we would have to also do Part II which is a huge gold sink for people who ALREADY paid the gold needed the first time. That’s what is unreasonable.

We paid the gold needed, it’s unfair to penalize people who obtained legendary weapons the old way. If I had known they would rework the system and add bonus items I would have waited and crafted and scavenger hunted for every single one of my legendary, because I LIKE the new system.

All I am saying is its unreasonable to ask people to throw more gold for an item we already paid 2-3k gold already making.

Craft the precursor, sell it, treat any loss of gold as the cost of the item you actually wanted.

It did not. There were some interesting bundles from Collection I, but they were of severely limited use and you lose them after testing them.
