hello i got some questions about legendary weapons and the Changes when the new ones come out.

1:even tho i would have transmuted lets say the incinerator, would i still be able to change the stats on it when legendary weapons get acsended stats?

2:will transmuted legendaries still have the transmuted text on its tooltip?

I am asking becasue i have the materials and gold to Craft the incinerator and it would be devestating if its stats did not change and the transmuted Icon would still be there when that patch would come. TY

I read a post, yesterday or two days ago, in reddit which told that there were new items in the game code. One of them let you get the 2 items which you used to make your transmuted item.
So, if it is truth you will be able to buy that item with gems and fix your legendary.

No one can answer your questions until after the changes happen. The same question gets asked every week, and Anet can’t give an answer because they are still working on it. It will be hard enough to get the stat changing ability to work with regular Legendaries let alone changing back transmuted ones.

Speculating, Anet will probably intend that transmuted Legendaries will be treated the same as untouched ones, but considering the complexity I expect it to be bugged and take a few weeks to fix. Cue kittenstorm on the forums.

So, if you haven’t made it yet, or if you haven’t transmuted it, do not transmute it because soon you will be able to change its stats whenever you want.

Advanced Transmutation:

Double-click to separate a transmuted item into the two base items it is made from. If the target item has been transmuted more than once, only the current appearance item and the current stat item will be recovered.
