This was just something that popped in my head so thought I might ask.

Let’s say that you made Sunrise and wanted to put it on your new lowbie to enjoy it the whole time you’re leveling to 80. In total you transmuted the Sunrise skin 4 times during your course to reaching 80. Now you want the original stats for it back so you use a trans splitter. Here’s the question from what I’ve read in the description you’ll get back the stats from the last time you transmuted Sunrise rather than its Original stats.

Now if you buy 3 other trans splitters and use them to once again get back the last stats on your Sunrise skin again and again and again will you eventually be able to get back to the original legendary stats?

it only splits it to the last weapon used for the stats and the weapon used for the skin.

i did this with my quip prior to the whole update to ascended with switchable stats

If you transmute your legendary SKIN, no matter how many times, the transmute splitter will give you back the skin + the item you put it over.

For example:

Level 80 original Sunrise onto → level 5 white weapon → then level 10 white weapon…
~Use untransmute crystal~
You will get the 10 white weapon back + your Sunrise with selectable stats.
