Can we not have more dragons for at least a year..
and a new map type
All underground
Semi-claustrophobic tunneled area’s leading into low ceiling wide expanse terrain with traps, plant based enemies, elementals, inquest and lava flows that change direction and randomly change how you navigate map area’s.

oh and how about large mining carts on tracks that you can jump on and get moved around on through these large area’s..

Be great for Asura, Sylvari and humans. Last time I checked, the camera for Charr and Norn would make this area quite annoying.

Personally, I’m hoping we can get some insight as to what happened to the human gods. I’m kinda getting tired of sylvari.

Well we know what happened to them. They raised us, decided we were ready and left us to fend for ourselves…as per Nightfall anyway.

Its a lovely logo, and adding some non-dragon gameplay won’t affect the fact thats its mainly dragons :p

Primordus? I think he means you can probably get your underground map when he is introduced.

I believe he’s referring to Primordus the dragon the drove the Asura to the surface.

what do you mean yet another dragon? The whole last year was dominated by twiggy pig tailed Harley Quinn. And considering dragon apocalypse is the main theme of GW2, a second dragon as the main active antagonist does not come as that big of a surprise.

well, I don´t think these things are exclusive to each other Guess you will get that (short of inquest maybe) once the correct dragon becomes the main antagonist.

Hey don’t get me wrong I like the idea as well. It’s just that if/when it happens it will probably be dragon related. Also not looking forward to taking my Norn or Charr down there….

I suppose i am expecting a bit much from a 2 year old game based off dragons
I’m just looking for more variety in a game i enjoy (only eve online has ever kept me long term or had me return to play it an impressive amount).

Also lava in tunnels is cool and dangerous!

Lava + WvW sounds like an awesome yet daft idea. ANet make it happen!

But yeah an underground WvW map sounds interesting to say the least. How would you do the keeps/capture points? Camps I can see being done quite easily. Also what about siege. Trebuchets would be highly impractical. I’m guessing it would come down to Rams and Golems?

For more than a year we had to deal with a totally made up villain that had absolutely no foreshadowing (Scarlet) will we wanted to deal with the dragons threat.

Now we are dealing with an all new dragon. I guess it’s better than nothing.

And the inquests are even more annoying than the risen. They are everywhere, all the time.

I’m thinking only a small bit of strategic value tbh, imagine the bottleneck scenario at the end points of these tunnels with ballistas and catapults, a few could hold back dozens.

I’d deal with it and still play if it happened – but I have to admit I don’t like underground areas/caves, mainly because I tend to get totally lost and just end up wondering round in circles (maybe if there was a real distinction in visual style over the areas this would be less of a problem though).

I also tend to like kiting, or at least end up doing it a lot, and that’s a pita in closed in areas.

Underground…mining…lava…elemental.. GAH! No more dredge fractal!

(Volcanic probably generally fits the OP theme as well, although I hate it a little bit less)

The only reason the asura are above ground is because there’s a dragon underground.

Tyria has been designed in such a way that there is no place to move to without encountering some kind of dragon.

Move to Frostgorge? Jormag.

Grove? Mordy.

Underground? Primordus.

Desert? Krall.

Zhaitan is probably floating around somewhere, if not Tequatl

Underwater? Bubbles.

Hide with the Tengu? They’re dealing with destroyers.
