Is it possible to somehow use a lesser vision crystal to produce a normal vision crystal?

no recipes for what i see for this to happen. Mind you they should implement a way.

I doubt it, since the non-lesser Crystal requires only slightly more materials, and merging two or more lessers into a non-lesser would probably be redundant anyway, on account of qualifying crafting professions being able to craft both anyway.

(Though I suppose there’s an argument for such a recipe if accidentally crafting the wrong crystal is a common occurrence…)

Nope, sorry. Vision Crystals are used for crafting ascended weapons and chest armor, while Lesser Vision Crystals are just a cheaper material used to make crafting the other five armor slots a little less excruciating. (Not a LOT less excruciating, but a little.)

So, yeah, no way to transform one into the other.

I guess it couldnt hurt to implement a forge recipe consisting of 1 lesser vision crystal and 2 each of the 3 ascended ecto refinements, which would result in the same mats used and the possibility to salvage a vision crystal and get the same ingredients out of it.
