This topic has not born to be a provocation or a source of drama.

I’m just noticing that more the game changes the more players and friends I lose. So yeah I want to invite everyone of you that has seen a friend, a guildie or a player leave the game for undefined time, due to changes that may have kittened him/her off or due to something else, write his/her name in the way I’m doing below, so we don’t broke any rule. This way we can effectively see if the thing is terrifying alarming like I’m reading on many topics around this forum, or it’s just something to don’t care about. Maybe we can even be aware of some of the most hilarious reasons why some players left the game. I’m perfectly serious about this topic, so I ask you to be yourself.

K***py: Left in the first five and six months of Guild Wars 2, the game apparently, from what he said was a bit too “empty”.

E********d: Left because the game wasn’t providing him anymore any reasons to stay.

A****a: Left because the game was being monotonus.

A*************i: Left because the game was being monotonous.

S***n: Left after a patch that changed the new player experience.

W*******u: Left because after 2 years the game wasn’t changed at all.

P****k: Left because what was written in the manifesto never happend.

K***a: Left because the game was becoming more hard core player oriented.

I want to ask you to write the truth and to not fill this topic with trolls or fake players with fake reasons. I know we can’t know if someone ever does but I trust in your common sense.

I can’t remember their character names so I’ll just use numbers:

1) Started school and didn’t have time to play.
2) Started a second job and didn’t have time to play.
3) Powered through everything playing 12-14 hours a day, and got bored.
4) Had a kid and stopped playing games in general.
5) Went back to WoW because they had more long time friends there and felt lonely.

Most of these left due to life circumstances, and only a couple left for reasons with GW2. Although they really enjoyed the game, they just couldn’t keep playing.

You want me to be myself? OK, I think it is pretty awful that you are posting a thread that you know will cause hate and discontent.

It serves no purpose and can have nothing but a negative outcome.

Several of my friends were permabanned for asking for cash refunds on their broken town clothes. A number of these were leaders and influential members of my RP guilds, and since the (mega)Server-Merge has made finding PUG RP such a miserable hassle, all of my RP guilds have turned into ghost towns. I’m talking about literally almost two hundred players that I haven’t seen online since May, and I’m the last stubborn hold-out, because I like my actual characters too much.

Don’t know why it should. We are simply and just sharing personal experience. : )

I already have almost no friends who actively play. Also I don’t get what all the massive buttfrustration is about, but I guess weak-minded people will get upset about anything if there are enough of them. Game is still pretty good to play, leveling alts always sucked and always will. Moving on…

Well I think we can’t blame anyone for the reason he/she chose to leave the game.
