Yeah,I do know that but some ppl might not saw it :P
I don’t really get the point though.
They have a completely different culture over there. These things are more or less standard in those games (most of them also require paying for time which GW2 doesn’t).
You can’t really compare a game released here with the same being released in a part of the world there everything when it comes to most things are different.

Old news but….
VIP for downed state. Boy those guys are gonna have fun with all the instakill. Maybe PVT will be a thing there.

Na, they unlock Downed at level 9. The way their weapon skills work is different as well; instead of unlocking as the weapon is used they unlock the weapon slots as they level.
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.
Different people – different game. No big deal IMO.
Still nothing is P2W, you simply get more gemstore consumables and gem2golds for paying gems in advance and without the flexibility of getting exactly what you need.

To be honest with you. I think if we got rid of the downed mechanic, the game would be in a much better place with PVT/Knights etc having a lot more use.
I think the better question in all this is if GW2 normal will become like GW2 china, seems like anet is putting more and more emphasis on gem store conveniences and prestige skins ie the royal/ ship tickets, expansions to your collectables and bank, makeup kits, black lion weapon skins, etc etc. I certainly hope not, but now that the model seems to have abandoned the paid expansion format of gw1 seems like they’ll need to place an ever stronger emphasis on the cash shop for a steady income stream.
Pics from back then don’t reflect the game as it is today in China. There was a lot of experimentation during the closed betas.
