Let's talk about crafting speed.
First of all, crafting boosters give extra XP; they do not speed up the crafting proces on itself.
But I agree on the fact that sometimes it can be annoying how much time it takes to craft a full stack of for example mithril ore..there is indeed a difference in what you refine.
You guys do realize that it still is wayyy faster than the crafting in any other games, and “crafting in bulk” only take few minutes top…
I would rather get new content, or some things fixed…than craft faster…cause i can’t wait a few minutes.
And i do like and appreciate, that some things are refined/crafted slower than others…it just…makes sense ^^
Why is it hard to start your craft then go afk?
Fort Aspenwood
Its perfectly fine. Processing a 250 stack of trees take what, a minute? Try doing it in Archeage. Its a 30 minute nap.
“crafting in bulk” only take few minutes top…
Not quite. I refine mats “for a living” these days, and in order to do that and make it worthwhile usually means refining about 2.5k mats. I know it seems like crafting is very fast on a small scale, but 10 refined stacks = about 40 minutes spent waiting.
Granted, I’m moving a very high volume of items, so I expect it to take a while. So I’m not complaining about crafting speed, just pointing out that there are legitimate crafting endeavors that can take far, far more than a few minutes
Note that the 40 minutes is per-item I craft and resell. I usually do 10-20 of these per day (some are as quick as 2-3 minutes, others upto an hour), and it can really add up.
My old solution? Just watch netflix while waiting to finish
My new solution as of today: buy a dedicated crafting/flipping account for $10 so I can still play the game on my primary account and let the new account craft away \o/
