Guild Wars 2

So im a level 21 now, and iv heard of these epic 40+ people battles. I understand you have to work your way up…. but when do i get to join in on these “epic battles”. Do i need to play the game for 25 hours before i can finally come across some people.? Am i forced to join a guild?

I have no problem working my way up to the majorities rank but its getting a little boring running around and seeing another person maybe every 15 minutes.

If anyone could direct me it would be appreciated.

It will depend on the map and where you are in it. Most people will be mostly doing event chains. There are some at lower levels and on every map, excelpt not all of them are actively farmed. For example when you are around level 40, there is a centaur camp chain of event, with 5 events in a row. You can easily have 5-40 people doing it.

Usually when you enter a map you can ask in the map chat if there are any events running. Alternatively if you find an event you can call people to it. Usually though you really start getting good amounts of people post lvl 40. Once you reach 60+ though, you can have very large amounts of people, especially at dragons and other special bosses.

If you go to lion’s arch, you can ask the people there which map have decent amounts of people for events.

That’s kind of what i thought. Looks like ill be grinding my way to 40 this weekend. I was kind of hoping to get in on some action sooner but t his works.

Well if you go in the human side, the halloween events in the 1-35 level regions should have people there hunting halloweeen doors.

Unfortunately once you get there, it turns out most of these people are invisible to you at any given moment anyway. :P

Back when the game first launched you could come across event zergs in lower zones but since then people have leveled beyond them and new players don’t come in huge amounts all at once like launch.

There are huge events for sure, though, like people have posted. At the dragons, in Orr, sometimes at lower zone bosses, certain event chains, etc. It also depends somewhat on the server you’re on.

I switched to Ehmry from Sea of Sorrows last night and there were way more people in Queensdale on Ehmry.
