Level 80 on all profession
and once u have done that u will think why did i bother , im on 3 chars at 80 at moment( with completed stories and completed maps ) , and the story line always ends up in the same place , and unlike other mmos the jobs u have like chef and jewelcrafting and so on ,are pointless on here , they are just excuses to spend spare gold and to cure boredom , as u will never really use them , as it dont seem worthwhile , this game has you really wondering whydid i bother in the end , and im gonna have a short in the dark with my next comment , and say some random over egotistical forum mod will jump on this thread and wipe my comment as well lol , which makes the forums kind of pointless as well lol
I have all 80s on all 8. I made an extra thief because I preferred a human to a sylvari.

Nice…badge of honor must be easy to get

actually haven’t tried the jumping puzzle yet. gearing all of them out while saving the precursor and BoH farm for last.

I have all 8 professions at 80, i also have and extra Warrior at 80 and now created a second Necro.. so 9 x level 80 and one level 14
Are we able to have more than 8 characted slots?
Are we able to have more than 8 characted slots?
I don’t think anyone has reached the limit yet. I think I recall someone having 23 slots so far as the max anyone has.
GW1 had a max of 35 slots, so maybe it’s that?

Wow that’s a big acomplishment…
I have 5 level 80s and working on the other 3. It’s one way to keep combat fresh if you rotate among 8 different professions. I had one of each profession in Guild Wars 1 also and played them all.
3 80s, can’t get to like any other class.
If one is into melee heavy armored or assassin chars there isn’t much else to do :/
Never liked any sort of magician. I like sharp steel and pointy things.
I’ve got 7 80’s and 1 lvl 33 that I’m leveling with my buddy. The easiest to level were the warrior and guardian, the worst to level was the ranger(like pulling teeth!). I did it mostly to become familiar with all the classes for PvP. I now use the guardian for all PvE stuff and my thief(1st 80) for WvW. I did spend a lot of time on my necromancer(2nd 80), but the traits and lack of cohesive builds is too frustrating.
Who’s got level 80 on all their 8 characters in all the professions? I’m on my way to be doing that. I think GW2 is a unique game with different style in each different profession. So far I’ve got two 80s, one with the legendary Twilight, 40, 24, 16, and 2, 2, 2. This game will be here for a long, so why not.
I do. Now going for all ascended acc for all of them.
I have all 8 lvl 80’s fully kitted out in exotics.
ive got 8 toons with 100% map done and story. now its just a grind to get one of each legendary weapon

I sorta did the same. I had all 8 then made a second thief (human female) b/c it turn out all my medium armor toons were either male charr or asura. I’m glad I did as she basically replace my 1st thief (asura male). Aslo have a second war, but she is a key farmer so she doesn’t get past lvl 5 b4 she gets remade.
Had 9 of them geared out in exo’s….ascended is proving to be much more of a pita…dern time gates.

I only have 4 level 80s and another 4 ~level 40, I will soon have 8 level 80s. Fortunately, up to a point, the game offers much variety in Story so I’m not seeing the same story all over again, keeping things fresh ^^
Don’t rush the levelling. In all honesty, its one of the most enjoyable things about the game… that is learning new classes. What becomes a little less enjoyable is the missions and quests you do, which become “been there done that”
So far I have 5 80s (War, Guard, Ele, Ranger, Mez). Since Im casual, none of them is full exotic. And a legendary? Im my dreams only.
I still have plans to make another two, Necro and Thief. Engie is out of the list. Tried hard but found the class too weak and/or difficult to play. Hope this get changed in the future.
Back in GW1, except from one class, I got toon of each class. Im an alt-a-holic.
I have 8 level 80’s representing all classes and races. All are decently geared (full exotics – my guardian gets the ascended). Only four of these are full master crafters (lvl 400 in their respective crafts, all crafts). I leveled all of them the “old-fashioned” way — doing things I felt like doing and not really thinking about levels. Much like in GW1, I wanted to learn how all the classes play out in the game which, to me, offers a broader understanding of what the game is all about.
With these characters I am satisfied that I am enjoying the game more because of the flexibility and variety of game play that I experience. There’s a warm satisfying feeling I get when looking at the character selection screen and having the choice of playing any class I feel like playing. It keeps me in the game.

2 80’s here. Mesmer and Guardian. Working on Warrior (65) and elementalist (46) at the moment. But the objective is to get 1 of each class to 80.
I’m close to having all classes at 80 at the moment. I have 2 80’s currently (Warrior/Engineer) and the rest are at level 70.
The Engineer and Warrior I leveled the ‘old fashioned’ way, just going through the game and getting the Exploration Badge and such.
The other 6 I leveled normally until 30-ish, then maxed 4 crafts each with them so that I could skip the relatively boring middle levels (I had an excess of gold for awhile, so it worked out for me). Now that they’re all level 70, I’ve just been taking turns finishing up everyone’s personal stories and leveling up that way.
I have to say, the personal story is a lot more enjoyable when I can just do the whole thing in one big spurt, rather than having to spend 2-3 levels doing hearts just to see the next bit of it.

This is what I’m aiming for at the end. I’m looking forward to the day that I can just pick whatever class I want to play at any point in time and just jump into it. My Engineer is the only one decked out in Exotic+ right now, but eventually I want everyone geared up and ready to go.
Goal: To have one character of every race, gender, and armor class combination at level 80.
Current progress: Human 4/6 | Charr 1/6 | Norn 1/6 | Sylvari 1/6 | Asura 1/6 | Total: 8/30

Working on it currently. 3 80’s, a 76, 3 65’s, and a 50. Some are a lot more enjoyable than others for me. Still need to work on gear for them all without dipping too far in to the legendary fund.
I’m working on my sixth level 80, a necro. I only have thief and elementalist left after that. My first character was an engie, but my main is currently mesmer. I also use my ranger alot.
I have four lvl 80 characters.
Mesmer, Warrior, Thief and Ranger. I’ve got a Engineer that I just got bored with at lvl 30. Engie takes too much effort to play and yields less reward. Why bother taking time to setup turrets that do little damage and will die in a couple hits when you can just 100b.
I currently have 7 professions at 80 with the Engineer at 45. The engineer in on-hold at the moment while I make some progress on map completion. My Necro was the latest and the first that I leveled almost solely through crafting. He hit 80 in one day with 1% map completion.
I’m always vacillating on which one to ‘main’ as I enjoy playing them all.
Only 3 80s here but i love my ele and engi the most, the op classes are so boring. I don’t see the appeal of pressing 1 button constantly to win :p
I have currently 6 lvl 80 characters: Necro, Ranger, Guardian, Mesmer, Elemntalist and Engineer. My young Warrior is lvl 40 now and a Thief will be recruited at the beginning of next month at the latest. (Sooner if character slots go on sale.)
I have 10 characters, only 7 level 80s though.
I will have 6 80s once my Asura guardian gets there ( lvl44 atm). I have 2 thieves, a Mesmer, Warrior and an Engineer. Debating what i want to focus on though lol. I love my warrior for instances but im loving my Asura guardian. I figure when Arena-net starts adding new things to the classes i will all ready have them all leveled up and ready to play!

I don’t play much wvw but would u say Thief is much better in wvw or Warrior? The other day I went into wvw as a Guardian and 6 of us got killed by two Warrior, so I went in as my warrior and I got owned by Thief. Maybe is just me.
I wanted too but it’s too boring. Got a necro/warrior/mes/guardian to 80, was working on a theif and ele but it’s not too fun and crafting’s too expensive. Cool thing about multiple 80s is you can switch as needed in pugs. 4 Light classes? switch to a Guardian. Warriors/Guardians only? Mesmer works well with those. A group with mostly with low dps classes? Bring the zerker warrior.

I have one of each profession at 80. Now I have to figure out how to gear them out. I have yet to do a dungeon or fractal or even complete my PS or all the maps. A lot to do still but gearing is first.
