I wonder if leveling by crafting is still viable and by far the fastet (not looking at price).

Yes but keep in mind that you have to level the craft to 500 now in order to gain 10 levels. As cook and jeweller are still at 400, you will only be able to lvl to 74 or so, if you max out every craft.

You get 7 lvls by getting your crafting skills to 400, so all 8 crafting skills maxed will get you to lvl 56. If you have that experience scroll that puts you automatically on lvl 20 you can get to lvl 76. Then if you max some crafting skills to 500 or close you may be able to get to lvl 80.

Last week a friend leveled cooking to 400 and he got full 10 levels for that again. So maybe they changed that back, but he hasn’t tried jeweller till now.
