So I’m trying to find a group to do AC, I’m lvl 38 and looking to do story mode (lvl 30). Honestly, I’ve never done a dungeon before in GW2, but loved doing dungeons in other games while levelling – it’s a change of pace, and mixes things up, a break from the norm.

So why is it so difficult to find a group? I’ve asked guildies, I’ve asked in game, I keep hearing the same thing – too hard/slow/scared.

Honestly, I’m gobsmacked. Generally I’m a huge fan of this game but what the hell? Dungeons should be accessible during levelling otherwise there’s only one real pve option available for 80 lvls – exploration (hearts/events).

Have you tried finding a group with the LFG tool? Normally when i post for a story mode run, the group fills in under a minute.

People in my guild level with dungeons like AC TA SE regularly. With at least 3 strong lvl 80 players having 1 or 2 lower levels doesn’t slow down a run that much.

I havn’t played for a couple of month. But when I used to play, it is really easy to form a group. Just make a group called “anyone welcome” and it’s filled in minutes.

The only problem is the group is usually bad that the dungeon take a few hours. Compare to a group of lvl80 pros.

The problem isn’t finding a group. The problem is finding a group which can do it fast.

Seriously, dude. Use the LFG tool. If you’re lvl 38 and looking to do storymode (which you must indicate in your LFG post), you should be able to find a group in no time (depending on time of day).

It’s really when you’re low lvl and you attempt to do exploration mode, you’ll have trouble getting a group, for the most part. Groups, generally, don’t want lowbies for exploration mode.
