This item gives the option to convert Airship Parts, Aurillium and Ley-Line Crystals into one of the other types once per day for each type.

My question is why is the conversion rate so terrible? Who in their right mind would spend 25 of one map currency for 10 of another map currency? The rate should at least be 1:1 because it’s gated at once per day.

Is this 2.5:1 conversion rate intended Anet? Why, what’s the point? I can just go on that map and do a meta event to end up with something like 200+ currency, the equivalent of 500 other map currency and 20 days of converting.

Good question. It is ill thought-out, and should be a 2:1 conversion.

I suspect they made it like this because they’re terrified of there being an exploit of some kind.

I find airship parts way easier to earn than ley line Crystals so I’ll convert that way if I know I’m gonna need more of the latter soon. But yeah, it’s not a great rate.
